Job Description:
Knowledge of medical record practices, ICD-9 and CPT coding systems, medical terminology to understand diagnoses and procedures.
Knowledge of human anatomy, physiology and disease process, operative and laboratory reports and related medical documents.
Willing to work in Global Shifts.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office.
Should be able to work under unpredictable circumstances.
Responsibilities:
Prime job responsibility is to review or audit medical records and analyze if the right medical code (CPT) has been applied under the following scenarios:
Evaluation and Management bill review.
Physical Therapy bill review.
Chiropractic bill review.
Occupational bill review.
