So I step into the train after a long tiring day to go home, looking forward to enjoy the weekend. I sat at the window seat and started listening to music and dozed off. The train stopped at Mahim station,Mumbai and out of nowhere a man from the platform spits an entire 'PAAN' on me through the window. I tried reaching the door to catch hold of him but unfortunately the train had moved forward and gained speed. My face, hands, neck; almost entire body was covered with the disgusting man's dirty saliva, bacteria, germs, senselessness, ill mannerism etc etc. I don't think it was accidental because no one spits straight forward, usually the person at least turns his head diagonally downward. Spitting is supposed to be fined. I don't know how will this ever happen in a country like India where people disrespect their country and spit anywhere.

We need to improve ourselves first. There is no point in blaming government all the time, if we don't have the basic civic sense. There are social crimes we commit everyday like spitting, public urinating, littering or dumping garbage anywhere. We need to learn etiquettes.
